Even though i am not into politics, I thought last night was a good debate!
sam bed:)
I didnt like it. I hate politics and everything they say is a lie to get themselves in office and ruin this country.
David Blanchette

politics are very immature
~sam silva
they may not do everthing they say they are but they try their best for this country.
RHarrison per2
I think that the paper is trying to point that they want Obama to win. They would point out that President Bush and McCain have almost the same views and since nobody likes Bushes views they are agreeing wit Obama
~Brooke Renaud

i only watched some of the debate but the part i saw was when mccain was talking about how people spend money foolishly. i didn't get why he would say that because he has 13 cars and 8 houses. if anybody is spending money foolishly it's him.

This article supported Mr.Obama in my opinion. I think I have found a good example too:
"(even though Mr. McCain, in the kind of misstep that no doubt would have been used by Republicans against Mr. Obama, mangled the name of the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and he stumbled over the name of Pakistan’s newly inaugurated president, calling him “Qadari.” His name is actually Asif Ali Zardari.)." <--NY Times
E.T.
I think this article favored Obama.
They went on about how Obama was saying that McCain was like bush.
and I agree with Blanchette 100%.
I can't stand politics.

david blanchette..you are my hero!! lmao no one in the world could have said it any better! im not even going to get into it. i think that mccian is a complete joke and no matter how little experience obama has, i think he represents all the right and fair laws/ideas!! thats all im saying on this topic..but enough with the politics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
jeesh

LETS ALL MOVE TO CANADA!!

I think of myself as a politics geek to a certain degree, but last nites debate was one of the best debates that I have seen in my life and I have seen quite a few.
Sam Thornley
i think this article was supporting obama.it was stating how he had experience and was younger than McCain. also McCain is a republican , like geroge bush, so people don't want some much for another republican to be in office.

I think that polotics is very immature but i think that the press are vocasing on Obama more than McCain and I agree with Brooke that they are putting that McCain is more like Bush and people dont like Bush so they won't vote for McCain
srry that 1 was mine
Samantha Brien
I thought the debate was very good.. Vote Obama!:)
Luke Martin
Ya i thought It was a good debate to.
Pat pickering
hahahaha! I agree with David. I hate politics to; and all they do it tear down people and make them sound like idiots, whatever. it just confuses me.
The debate was a good one.
-Connor Perry-
i love how they try to relate to us wen they are rich and they think like we dont notice.
mregan
people get way to into politics and just end up acting immature.
Brittney f :)
The article wanted Obama because in the 7th paragraph it talks about how McCain couldn't say Zardari, but it never talks about Obama misspeaking.
Eric Loureriro
same as eric as much as i do not like obama
drew trosky
I agree with David.
As much as politics are needed they're all candy coated in a bunch of lies.
-Lexsey :]
i think it was a good debate. but i do think they push towards obama a alot.
the way they said mccain was alot like bush wasn't a good idea because a lot of people dont like bush.. so they wouldn't like mccain either.
jilllll
What I am getting from this is that Obama was the one to win. This is because they noted that McCain and Bush have similar ideas.
Bush is not really favored, so since McCain is like Bush, Obama is the one to win.
--Chelsea Thiboutot
i personaly hate politics....alot...really,and i thought that all it did was favor obama and just go on about mccain an how hes just like bush
I agree with David. There basically just saying lies.
Sam Sousa
I think that every thing that polotician say is a lie when they are running for president. although if i was to vote for a president based on what they say i would vote for obama.
Nolan Moitozo :)
For the first 40 minutes, Mr. Obama repeatedly sought to link Mr. McCain
Nick Q.
I think that they were hinting at Obama to win. It kept talking about how McCain and Bush were very similar and not many people like Bush so I'm guessing it was Obama they wanted to win.
"The differences were in no small part stylistic and visible with a glance to the stage: a 47-year-old black man who has been in the Senate for nearly four years standing at one lectern, facing a 72-year-old white-haired fixture of the Senate standing across from him." This sentence seemed to like Obama more.
Haley C.
Period 5
friday nights debate i think could have gone better considering the questions they asked.
Nolan Moitozo :)
I strongly agree with David Blanchette people with do anything to get into office.
CSoito
I agree with bacon. Also i'm not in to politics, it boars me .
-chelsea melo =]
I agree with David to a degree. They do sometimes ruin the country but they're not trying to do it deliberatly.
Zach Tavares
They both seem like they would be good presidents but one thing annoys me about that article i don't know if it is a typo or what but they said McCain supported "WAR against IRAQ" i thought it was against the terrorists in Iraq not Iraq itself
D Laine per.3
i think obama won the debate becuase he sounded like he knew what he was talking about and mccain just kept putting down obama.
Alex Salois
Period 7
I am not into politics at all but in this article they pointed out that they think obama should win. Also i agree with E.T .
Eric Gordon
"“I’m afraid Senator Obama doesn’t understand” and “What Senator Obama doesn’t seem to understand” and “Senator Obama still doesn’t understand” were Mr. McCain’s constant refrains," I believe that this statement shows mostly that this article favors Sen. Obama because it defends him.
---Chris Sanson
I agree that in the debate, the candidtes seemed as if they were avoiding the topics....they just used big words to act like they were saying something important when they weren't....
Monique L. Period 3
I agree with Brooke. The artical seems to be rooting for Obama because it says that Bush and McCain have a lot of the same veiws and the majority of the country doesn't seem to like Bush.
Casey DeLeo period 5
i agree with brook i think that more people want obama to wim because they said that McCain is just like bush
k travers
I agree with everyone. I like Obama better beacause i think he will stop war if he is president. I dont really know anything about politics.
Justin Costa Period 2
i agree with bacon and blanchette,i didnt really like it because i dont like politics,i just dont really care for them.
J.BURNSYYY! (:
i think that they do favor Obama in this article. he probably would send our troops back but think about all of those people who have died in that war because of Bush and now were going to take them out that doesnt seem right. Mccain is old to so he may be more wiser and experienced so i dont think i am sure on who is going to win yet
Hannah Wilson per.4
I feel this article favors Obama because they speak out about McCain a lot but no so much against Obama.
Mike Salhany
Period 2
I think that they favor obama in this article but, they should I feel that he should become our president. He will bring good changes in our lives.
Carissa Quaglia:)
I am not really that into politics...
kristen H.
:)
I think politics are confusing. And I also think they are pushing towards McCain.
Rachael B.
I think politics are boring
Pinto
I think politics are boring so i wouldnt know if it was a good debate or not
C.Sanderson=)
I think the author supported Mr. McCain because...:
"sounding almost like a professor talking down to a new student, he talked about having to explain foreign policy to Mr. Obama"
her is saying like Mr. McCain is almost like higher than Mr.Obama.
Katie Theiss
ahhh im done with this.
just pick a name out of a hat.
K.Theiss:)
ya i think that politics are boring to because all they do is talk and complain about what problems each canadate has. Mitchell Powers
I think that Obama had the better debate becuase of some of the interesting answers to the debate presents. Why didnt Mccain look at Obama i heard someone say that.
RJ
In a few ways i think the article is for Obama because they posted up more quotes for Obama than McCain and the quotes they did put up for McCain were not exactly in his favor. And I got to agree with David Blanchette, Because he is completely right in hoe all politics do is lie to us about everything just to look good, and be in peoples good favor even when it's so obvious they are wrong.
Alycia Ennis
i agree with brooke.i think the paper is trlling them that they want obama to win.
jgracia period 4
hey dave i dont think everything would be lies though a lot of the things they say to get into office is not going to happen but some of it does and obama is the better canidate.\
ryan martin per3\
I am not into politics and think their boaring. I dont know whos lieing or telling the truth thats why its so hard when it comes to politics. But I think obama was more right and understanding when it came to the politics, artical
LH
I would have to say they are favoring Obama , because look at how many times they hit McCain compared to Obama. Good for this article to be siting McCain's messups.
PEOPLE HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT! McCAIN WILL JUST BE ANOTHER CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN JUST LIKE BUSH!!! SO IF YOU LIKED THE WAY BUSH RAN OUR COUNTRY INTO THE GROUND OVER THE PAST EIGHT YEARS THEN GO AHEAD AND VOTE FOR McCAIN. ANYBODY WHO THINKS THINGS NEED TO CHANGE, FOLLOW ME TO OBAMA LAND!!!lol
Danny Candeias(is a litlle confused about girls right now)
period: 4
lol Danny but i have to agree with Danny and I think that the paper is favoring Obama because it kept comparing him to Bush
Morgan
period 5
if the president is not mccain or vice palin i would be happy with any old guy on the street
ryan martin per3
I think Obama did a great job showing that he knows his stuff when it comes to the economy and foreign affairs. The only thing I think Obama did wrong was that he kept agreeing with McCain then saying what part he didn't agree with.
N Imbriglio
i thot it was ok. it was a little boring. and they probly wont do half the things they say they will.
emilyhorner
I think Obama continuously claims that MCcain is following Bush's ideas, and wants to blame everything on the president.
haha, erica bacon and david blanchette..
TStrange!
Well Dan i think your confused about a litle more than just girls. Bush had no control over the war he didnt fly the planes into our building. Iraq had nothing to do with it you say, well they where housing terrorists that we wanted so while we were geting them why not take down a dangerous dictator. A litle thing called COMMON SENCE!!!!
P.S this srticle favors obama
- K Pearson
i agree with what Dave has to say and I'm not really into politics
