Should we be trying the prisoners at Guantanmo Bay Prison?
If we shouldn't try them, what should we do with them? Is holding them indefinitely moral behavior?

Why should we even try people held at Guantanamo Bay??????? They are soldiers of the enemy, if you let them out what do you think they will plan to do???? Continue the mission no matter what the cost. Yaaa, sure go ahead and let out the guys trying to kill you and your country for a hearing. And if you don't want to hold them any more for questioning you could let them ride the lighting, gas chamber, or lethal injection (if they plan to kill you, kill them first. It's all in self defense.).

There are too many physcos in this world. Some are seriously messed up, and even when brought to jail do not change their oppinion on killing or anything like that. These people should stay in jail if proven guilty. Never let someone out of jail for a certain reason. It's way to dangerous.

I think that they should keep the people in the prison, and just get more money. It would be worse for them to let the people go then to just give them more money. If they were to be let go then they would be out in the world again and more bad things would happen.

People that get put in jail are there for a good reason, no matter what; they shouldn't be let out, unless proven innocent. I agree with Justin, if you let them out, there will be more dangerous peolpe in the world and we don't need anymore of those.
I think that they should get the money, but the prisoners should not be let out. They are in there for a good reason and letting them out into the world would be a huge mistake. If they are lettingthem out it is just creating more problems in the world.

I don't think we should be spending MORE money on guantanamo bay. They have been fine with the money provided. If the prisoner is in their for life i honestly think that we should just kill them. That souds kind of harsh i know, but i mean in a humane way like youthunization (the way they put down pets i have no idea how to spell it).

i really strongly feel that they need to give money to the to keep these bad people in the prison so nowthey are going to let them out i mean they had to do something really bad to get in there in the firdt place and now its like a free ticket out of there.
They should be able to be tried because I'm certain somebody would spill it and tell a nation's secret. If Guantanmo has some nuclear bombs or is planning to help Iraq or what have you, I think we should know.

I agree with Eric. we should try them and interrogate them, because if they do have weapons, they will most likely tell us. However, we have to double check to make sure theyre guilty so we dont have another harold and kumar situation
I think that every person no matter what where or who should get a trial unless the person is of major significance like Adolf Hitler or Sadam Husain. Everyone could possibly be innocent even if they aren't the courts will just have to decide. If they are tried and found guilty we should give them a normal sentence but if they are innocent we should take precautions while releasing them back to where they were taken from. Holding someone indefinitely shows them no respect or acknoledgement of their humanity since it shows they can rot in there while waiting for their trial.

I think the prisioners should be placed on an investigation to distingish between the innocent and guily. (and to also lower the overall cost. less prisoners, less mulla.) Then, the guilty shoud deffinetly be placed in jail because there are too many kookoos in this world. Money should be raised and provided to suitably hold the prisoners.

i think that what ever the people did to get into prison if they are guilty or not they were there when a crime happened and if it was a couincidence or not they still were there and if the people that are guilty they did something bad enough to get were they sre today then i think that if they do it again then they should be put back in but the first time if they like murdered someone then they should have so many years and then they be put back in again if it happenes twice but to have someone in a prison that long then they should have caused somthing to happen then they should be there and if not then what can we do to stop the government if they did enough to get there in the first place then they deserve to stay there but i still think that if the government needs to hlod someone for there entire life for something they did then there should be a law set down that defines all possibilities that a crime could happen and have a certian punishment for each one and then the court system eould be more fair to the victims and or the criminals. th government needs to come up with a system like that because if they dont then someone cold get blamed for something that they ahd nothing to do with and then the government would not have to make so many prisons because there would be half as many criminals and then there would be criminals and then they were supposed to be there in jail for half the tim so we would not have to have so many peolpe in jail and the government would not have to deal with this and then the country would not have to vote on it and then the supreme court would not be waisting so much time on useless thing like this and desiding when to give and how long to give a prison statement for the problem that i have brought is done good night everyone
people that are in jail are in there for a reason because they did something wrong and if they just let them get out then there will be alot more dangerous people walking around.
i think depending on the criminals that are to be let out of the prison is what matters, some may be close to getting out anyways while others may not be as bad anymore.. but i guess paying more money for our overall safety may be okay..
we should get some money to keep these prisoners from being out in public or the government should transfer the people to other prisons that have less people. And it might help the people no get robed, or killed from thease inmates. DCarlos
