come on guys really? is it that hard to understand? He wants you to watch Saturday Night Live's parody of the vice presidential debate and then leave feed back on it. HES NOT ASKING ABOUT THE REAL DEBATE HE'S ASKING ABOUT THE SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE VERSION! Any way, it looked like they were playing up joe Biden's love of jhon McCain and sarah palin's "MAVERICK" and joe six pack ditzieness. I think Tina Fey did a better job of playing sarah Palin. And i think that at least 50 percent of america judge the candidates by these skits. However that may not be a bad thing because the skits point out their flaws.

this skit shows haw Joe Biden knows more than Sarah Pallin and he is much more experienced. the actor who played Sarah Palin did a good job of making he look dumb and not as experienced. this skit kind of influenced my view on the candidates but i dident like Sarah Palin from the beginning.

i actaully found that pretty funny they didnt look like actors though. they looked like the actual people, but they were trying to make pallin look dumb and the other guy know what he was talking about. they did a really good job acting it out.

You people nust have hearing problems because i ha\eard this clear as day, the debate was making Palin look dumb/stupid but portaying Biden on the other hand prety close to person.

The Saturday Night live video was making-fun-of both canidates. They exagerated Sarah Palin's use od the word "mavrid" and how she would not answer direct questions and go off about something else. They also exagerated JoeBiden's love of John McCain and his irrigance/cocky-ness.
I think this could mislead people into thinking that Sarah Palin is very stupid and that JoeBiden is obsessed with JohnMcCain. Overall, it was a good laugh.

actors? but i do think that video skits like this one does help my view on the candidates because it breaks it down instead of watching the whole debate but it depends what they talk about and if it makes sence. Mitchell Powers

This shows that the sterotype of Palin is she talks like she is not smart and uses words that are not used in todays vocabulary. She also explains stuff for kids to understand. The sterotype of Biden is that he talks a lot and explains stuff in a confusing way.

that video was really funny:) the actors were really good too it was trying to make Palin look like a total ditz and Biden look like he thought he was so great

The actor for Mrs. Plain made her look like a complete idiot who likes to ramble about something off topic and wuss out when asked a serious question. Then the actor for Mr. Biden made him look like he knew what was going on and it really showed how much he "loves" McCain. I think that the actor for Mr. Biden was much more accurate. The skit didn't influence me at all.

I think they make Palin's character a little more exagerated then the Biden's. It seems like more focus is on their personal life, rather than their political views.

This SNL skit was making fun of both vice-president candidates. I thought it was mostly making fun of Sarah Palin, making her look dumb and like she doesn't know anything. Both actors exaggerated the candidates farely well. This skit didn't really influence my perspective on either one of them.

The video wasnt that funny. Mr borden said it would be , so I tried to laugh. I just didnt have it in me. The jokes went right over my head. But it did a good job re-enacting the real people.

I think that both candidates were getting made fun of, but Sarah Palin was mocked a little more than Joe Biden. Mainly, their jokes were centered around Palin ignoring the questions and how Biden likes McCain. This totally does not influence the way I look at either candidate because it was mostly just funny.

i don't really know why they did that. it was really funny but i didn't get the point of it

The skit exaggerated Biden to ramble on and on and repeat things over and over, expecially his previous achievements. It exaggerated Palin to use old words to an extent where no one knows what shes talking about and it makes her seem like an idiot. ( her accent also doesn't help that )

I think they both did an equally effective job showing both vice presidents flaws.

The skit made me realize how much more I really, really, don't like either candidate.

Some stereotypes are Bidens hair and how close him and Mcain are and the part when Palin said when she thanked a elememtary school for helping her with her debate prep. I think both of the actors are affective. Videos and skits dont influence my view on the canidates.

i agree with lexsey about the characters and how they show more of there personal life than there political viewers and its not just telling whats wrong and whats right but this one shows what they really think and not something that they want the viewers to know.

I think that the skit emphasized more on Palin making her look like a total dunce. It does also point out how Biden is full of himself and is tight with McCain. I think Tina Fey did a better job of portraying Palin's flaws more than the other guy. I hope that people realize that these skits are put on to entertain people rather than influence their views.

HAHA (: this was hilarious. tina fey is one of the funniest people alive.

1. The video exaggerates that joe biden is full of himself and that sarah palin over stresses the fact that she is just like everyone else.
2. I'm not sure what you mean but... tina fey was hilarious in this.
3. Skits like this definitely don't effect my view on the candidates. They do make me almost die laughing though (:

Sarah Palins actor acted like she did not know what she was talking about. And Joe Biden was saying that he loves John Mcain over and over. I think that Sarah Pains actor was a lot more effective in her role. And the saturday night live skit does not influence the person who I want to win.

The whole thing made fun of both candidates but more towards Palin they made her look dumb and they focused on her being dumb for most of the video and reaal didnt do much to make fun of biden besides the "i love McCain" thing.

I like the beginning where Sarah Palin goes up to Joe Biden and says "Can I call you Joe?" I even got to hear and see that during the real debate and i noticed she never actually called him Joe.. The skits shouldn't influence you to go one way or the other but it's fun to watch them anyway.

Eric Loureiro

The actors exagerate Sarah Palin's dumbness and Joe Biden's cockyness. The one imitating Sarah Palin was more effective. It's probably easier to act dumb than anything else. They do influence our views because it points out the negative side of the candidates even though we know they are just actors.

I think these skits are extremely helpful in seeing an un biased makeing fun of both parties veiw, in normal debates people hide the faults better but the faults are still ther this just exaggerates them
