Opinion article on the first Thanksgiving

  1. What is the author's main point?
  2. Do you agree? Why or why not?

the authors main point is that there are many ways thanksgiving is told and that he's not sure how the all of them came to find a different way, and i do agree with this author becasue other people can think that it was celebrated a certain way and other don't and thats okay everybody believes in something else that other people don't.

I agree with danielle and the author too. There are a lot of ways thanksgiving is told and no one is really sure on which is the actual one. So many people have different opinions and views than eachother.

Thanksgiving has many meanings. I think many story's have been pasat down through time and we all take in what thanksgiving means in are way. I think thanksgving is being thankful for the things and family members you have.

I think that the main point of this article is that there are many different ways Thanksgiving is retold. This is because the truth is distorted as it is passed down through peoples own biasses.

i agree with danielle. there are many ways on how thanksgiving started but no one really knows the right one. people mostly think its to give thanks for everything. we dont know which one is true or is not true.so i agree with her and the author

I think the author's main point is that the truth behind the real Thanksgiving has been warped into another American pastime. I agree with the author. But also, I see it as we share a lovely meal with the Native Americans, and how do we repay them, by killing them and stealing their land.
